      Your team

A table for a group of you, over the same week. Everyone sees each other's name, how many days they logged, and how much weight they changed as a percentage. Nothing else crosses — not your food, not what you weigh, not what you're aiming at.

      Welcome

Two quick questions and you're logging. Everything here can be changed later in Settings.

      About you

Used to estimate what you burn on days your tracker can't tell us. Skip any of it and the app just leans on your actual weigh-ins instead.

All optional, and all changeable later. Sex is only used for the resting-burn formula, which differs by about 166 kcal a day.

      You're set

Two optional extras, both changeable later.

      • Connect WHOOP — replaces the estimated burn with what you actually burned.
      • Daily reminder — a nudge if you haven't logged by a time you choose.

Both live in Settings, behind the cog in the top corner.

      What kind of thing

      Your week

      Week runs over

A timer on Today, both ways round: how long is left to eat while the window is open, then how long the fast has run once it closes. The window opens at the first thing you log, not at a clock time — so a late start moves the whole window with it — and the fast is measured from the last thing you ate.

      Ways to log

Which buttons the log form offers. Typing a description is always there — it's the form itself.

      What to call them

Renaming a tag re-labels everything already logged under it — nothing is moved or lost.

Descriptions of food tend to run low — portions rounded down, the oil and the sauce left out — so a guessed estimate gets a percentage added on top. Entries where you stated the amount ("200g", "10 pieces") are never buffered.

      How much to add

      You and your targets

      Measure the day against

Your goal weight drives the projection on the Stats screen. Height, age and activity are only used to estimate what you burn on days a tracker can't measure.

      Burn estimate details

Only used to guess your burn on days without tracker data.

Only used to work out your resting burn — the standard formula differs by about 166 kcal a day. Leave it blank and the estimate splits the difference.

Leave the target blank and the diary just reports what you ate. Set one and today's progress shows against it.

Off by default. Turn them on and every new entry gets a protein, carb and fat estimate alongside its calories, and today's card shows what's left of each.

      Keto

Turning it on counts carbs as net, sets a 20g daily ceiling, and puts net carbs and fibre under every entry — the settings in this section, set together rather than found one by one. Today then leads with net carbs against that ceiling. Change any of them afterwards and they stay changed; turning keto off leaves them all alone.

      Track macros

Each one reads however you want it. Leave any of them blank and it isn't tracked at all — a protein floor on its own is a perfectly good setup.

      g
      g

      Show under each entry

What appears on a logged item and adds up on Today. Protein, carbs and fat unless you say otherwise.

      Count carbs as

Net carbs is what a keto or low-carb diet counts. An item logged without a fibre figure keeps its full carbs rather than being assumed to have none.

      The rest of the label

Leave any blank and it isn't tracked. UK guidance, for reference: 30g of fibre a day, at most 6g of salt, at most 30g of saturated fat.

      The app

      Theme

This browser can't do notifications. On an iPhone they only work once the app is added to the home screen.

      Or nudge me per meal

One question each — "is there a lunch today" — rather than one about the whole day. Nothing arrives for a meal you've already logged.

Choose what each screen shows, and in what order. Nothing is deleted — a card you turn off is just not on the screen.

Export all (JSON) Food CSV Weigh-ins CSV

Apple Health and Android's Health Connect are native apps — no website can read them directly, whatever it promises. What does work is the export file they already make.

      Where to find it

iPhone: Health → your photo, top right → Export All Health Data. Share the zip to Files, then pick it here.

Android, or a smart scale: any CSV with a date column and a weight column — Health Connect exporters, Withings, Garmin and most scale apps all produce one.

The camera is only ever used for scanning a barcode, and only while the scanner is open. This app tells your browser that nothing else loaded inside it — no script, no embedded page — may reach the camera at all.

To allow it for this site alone, rather than for every site you visit: on iPhone, open this page in Safari, tap aA in the address bar, choose Website Settings, and set Camera to Allow. That grant applies to this address and nothing else. On Android Chrome it's the padlock in the address bar → Permissions → Camera.

Better still, add this to your home screen: an installed app keeps its own permissions between launches, so it asks once rather than every session. A run of scans only asks once either way — the camera is held open for a couple of minutes between them.

      Checking backups…

Deletes your entries, weigh-ins, measurements, photos and tracker data for good. There is no undo — export your data first if you want to keep a copy.
